Our Story

Sometimes we can't quite believe how we ended up here, running a non-profit, helping hundreds of families, yet here we are! Over a decade ago we, Nicholas and Molly, met in Honduras, and we fell in love with the country, its people as well as each other.

We became committed to helping those living in poverty; seeing a great need for families in their local community. We were especially passionate about helping children living with malnutrition, knowing that we could reduce their suffering with just helping out with some basic food and a backpack and shoes so they could get to school. Our outreach continued to grow in the community and beyond and Empathy into Action was born. 

 

It is incredible how one small idea can grow into something truly special. Empathy into Action is rooted in our belief that we all have an inherent responsibility to make a meaningful difference; to care and love for our fellow humans and help out wherever possible.
